The "Leader" is a definite fishing
machine. It is a 36 foot long, 13 foot wide Tiara Yacht with one of the largest back decks for fishing in the
charter industry. The boat is built to ride very comfortably in big Lake Michigan waves when other boats are unable
to handle the waves in comfort.
Speed
There are twin high-performance 496 Cruisader engines that provide 900
horsepower to get us to the hotspots quickly. There is a private
head (bathroom) for your convenience. We also have
a generator that provides heat and air conditioning
for your comfort in the cabin.
Safety
Your safety is important
to us, so you can be assured that we
have all of the U.S. Coast Guard-approved
safety equipment.
There are also two VHF marine radios, and Nextel
cellular phones with 2-way radio.
Technology
"Leader" is equipped with
Raymarine radar, chartplotter and GPS. We
also have an autopilot, global map and
Loran.
In addition to two fishfinders, electronic
temperature and speed indicators for the
surface and downrigger
depth. As well as four Big Jon "Speedriggers,"
the fastest downriggers on the market.
Equipment
Only top of the line tackle
is used aboard the "Leader."
We feature Shimano Talora rods, Shimano Tekota reels, Berkley Big Game line and Sampo swivels.
